Champion the Needs of the Poor
The Congregation of the Mission is a community of Roman Catholic priests and brothers founded by St. Vincent de Paul in 1625 for the evangelization of the poor and the formation of the clergy. The
community is popularly known in the United States as the “Vincentians.” The Vincentian priests and brothers total over 4000 worldwide and serve in 86 countries.
The Vincentian members of the Eastern Province USA serve Christ in a variety of roles such as teachers, university administrators, hispanic ministry, pastors of parishes, youth ministry, marian ministry, and panamanian missions.
